Why does Zansa require a decision-making sponsor on every project?
Zansa asks for a sponsor who can make decisions because data projects constantly hit choices, such as which definition of revenue is correct or which system is the source of truth. Without someone who can settle these quickly, projects stall or end up with numbers nobody agrees on.
The sponsor does not need to be technical. They need the authority to decide, the time to respond, and the interest to see the work through.
Typical decisions include what counts as a sale, which dashboards matter most, and who may see which figures. If no one has that authority, it is better to resolve that before a build starts, and the intro call is a good place to raise it.
