Does Zansa use AI tools, and what happens to my data?

Zansa uses AI tools to help write code, but these tools never receive personal or client-identifiable data. Any machine learning models are run inside the client's own cloud account, so your data does not leave your environment for modelling purposes.

This separation matters for privacy laws such as POPIA and GDPR, and for commercial confidentiality. Code assistance works from schemas, descriptions and synthetic or non-identifying examples rather than real customer records.

When evaluating any provider that uses AI, ask what data is shared with third-party tools, where it is processed, whether it is retained, and who owns the outputs. Get the answers in writing as part of your contract.
